All the signs that Meghan Markle was pregnant – including court delay
A spokesperson for the Duke and Duchess of Sussex confirmed the pair are expecting their second child in an announcement on Sunday night.
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are already doting parents to their one-year-old son Archie, born in May 2019, and are now gearing up to further build their family later this year.
Looking back, there may have been some tell-tale signs before the announcement that the couple were expecting.
Here are some of them:
The postponement of Meghan's High Court privacy trial
Arguably the biggest clue of the lot was the fact the Meghan's High Court privacy trial case was adjourned. Originally scheduled for a January 11 date, the trial has since been postponed to autumn time this year.
This was after Meghan's legal team cited a "confidential ground" as to why the postponement was needed.
The fact that the royal couple now reside across the Atlantic in the US means given the fact Meghan was expected to attend the trial in person it is reasonable to expect the Duchess to wait until after the birth of her second child before she makes the trip.
Harry's flying solo
Though both Harry and Meghan have continued committing to their various charity duties via online video calls, The Duchess has been missing from Harry's side at official public appearances.

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry's 'intense mutual joy' in pregnancy pic following tragedy
The last time she was spotted at an official event was her visit to the Los Angeles National Cemetery with Harry, in honour of Remembrance Sunday.
Harry also helped out at the Stand Up For Heroes event alone, as he aided in packing and distributing food parcels for veterans and their families in Los Angeles.
Meghan's custom-made outfits
In her last public appearance for Remembrance Sunday, the Duchess donned a lengthy black-pleated coat.
The coat was designed by Brandon Maxwell and is thought to be custom made for the Duchess, which implies Meghan may have had it specifically made to hide a growing baby bump.

Harry's future family hints
Prince Harry has not been shy when previously discussing his desire to have another child alongside Archie.
In the September 2019 edition of British Vogue, guest-edited by Meghan herself, Harry revealed exclusively to Dr Jane Goodall the pair's future plans when it comes to children.
Harry said: "Two, maximum! But I’ve always thought: this place is borrowed. And, surely, being as intelligent as we all are, or as evolved as we all are supposed to be, we should be able to leave something better behind for the next generation."
