Al Jazeera's female journalists on reporting around the world
We asked some of our female correspondents to tell us about their experiences in the field, and how being a woman had affected their work.
When the battle against the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL, also known as ISIS) for control of Mosul began in 2016, Al Jazeera had three female correspondents on the frontline: Hoda Abdel Hamid, Stefanie Dekker, and Zeina Khodr.
