Pampered pooch! Adorable pug sinks into trance with his tongue lolling out as he gets a head massage in Vietnam

This is the adorable moment a pampered pug drifts off into a trance-like state as a masseuse gives him a head rub in a Vietnamese salon.  

His eyes roll back into his head and his tongue flops down as the woman runs her fingers through the satisfied dog’s fur. 

But the pooch’s body, which is sporting a bright jumper, sits peculiarly rigid during the massage in Ho Chi Minh earlier this year.

And this spoiled pug, who reportedly ‘loves massages’, proves that not all canine’s live a hard dog’s life.

Soft piano music can be heard playing at the start of the 40-second clip which shows the dog sitting on the lap of a young woman wearing a black dress.

The masseuse clasps her palms around the side of the pug’s head and uses her thumbs to gently rub above his eyes while her fingers stroke the fur below its chin.

While the pooch’s eyes remain closed for the majority of the massage, they occasionally half-open in a dazed state of relaxation.

The camera then zooms out to reveal the pug’s body, which oddly seems to be laying rigid in a pink and turquoise jumper. 

His arms are stiffly outstretched down by his sides and his legs also stick out and remain motionless.  

On the shelf behind a collection of products are placed alongside a calendar, and it is unknown if they are meant for people or animals.

But a black and white cat can also be seen wandering around the salon floor which could suggest that the feline is the masseuse’s next customer.

Oddly, the pug’s body remains completely rigid throughout the massage, and a cat, which could be the masseuse’s next customer, lurks nearby
