Donald Trump says there is ‘fraud’ in US Election result

It comes as the President’s daughter, along with her husband Jared Kushner, reportedly bought a multi-million dollar property on a secluded Miami island. The property is based on the luxurious Indian Creek Island and is worth over $30 million, or around £22.5 million, the New York Post’s Page Six section claimed this week.

Details on the property itself are not clear, but insiders have spoken out on what happens on the tiny island itself.

The two current aides to the President of the United States will be have a host of high-profile celebrities as neighbours.

These are said to include, or have included, Jay-Z and Beyoncé and Elle Macpherson.

Reportedly, there are rumours Ms Trump and Mr Kushner’s neighbour is the Emir of Qatar, whose house is worth around $50 million.

It is thought the couple bought their island property from Spanish singer Julio Iglesias, who owns multiple lots of land on the island.

For big names, one potential selling point of the island is its extensive security force.

Access to the island via car is only possible via a single road which bridges over from Miami’s Surfside area – and it is guarded.

Indian Creek also has a private security force of 13 guards who are responsible for keeping unwanted visitors away from the 29 residences on the island.

In addition, anyone who attempts to bypass the island’s only road access route and arrive by water instead may be met by a water patrol.

According to reports, officers scour the coast day and night with boats and jet-skis.

Jason Mansfield – an official from the US wing of real estate firm Knight Frank – told the Telegraph: “It’s certainly not the cause that hoards of people will be driving around looking for Ivanka’s house, as they simply won’t be allowed on the island.”

Mr Mansfield said visitors have to be invited, and called the extensive level of security “unusual in Miami”.

There are some potential downsides to the island, however. Outside of a Country Club, there is nothing in the way of a social hub and Ms Trump will have to leave the island – or send someone else – to do her shopping for her, as there are no shops either, the Telegraph adds.

Ms Trump and Mr Kushner’s move follows Donald Trump’s US election loss to Democrat rival Joe Biden last month.

As such, Mr Trump and his family will be forced to depart from the White House and Mr Biden will be sworn in in January.

It comes after speculation Mr Trump’s daughter will not be welcome back into New York – her former home – because of her active part in the Trump administration over the past four years.

Andrea Bernstein, a WNYC reporter and author of the book American Oligarchs, told The Guardian earlier this year: “I don’t see any indication they are coming back or would be welcome back here.”

David Colman, a styles writer for the New York Times, said the two “won’t be welcomed in liberal quarters” of the state.
