Nigel Farage handed major boost in PM poll – and it’s bad news for Rishi Sunak
Farage reveals what it would take to rejoin the Tories
Nigel Farage would make a better prime minister than Rishi Sunak, according to an Express poll.
This website asked readers if they would prefer the former Ukip leader in 10 Downing Street over the current Tory leader.
As of 8am today, some 7,545 people had voted in the online survey with 92 per cent backing Mr Farage.
Seven per cent voted in support of Mr Sunak, while one per cent did not know.
It comes amid intense speculation over whether Mr Farage will make a sensational political comeback after coming third on I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here.

The Brexiteer has also hinted he could return to the Tory Party in future under a different leader.
A recent poll by JL Partners suggested Mr Farage was more popular with Conservative voters than the Prime Minister following his stint on the ITV reality show.
The survey of 2,000 adults for The Sun suggested that among Tory 2019 backers, the former Brexit Party leader had a net popularity rating of plus 18, while Mr Sunak’s score was minus three.
Reacting to the poll earlier this week, Mr Farage said he was “absolutely astonishing”.
He said: “Well, it’s all very flattering, a little bit bewildering. It’s gonna take some time for me to sort of really take it on board. But fascinating, right?”
Mr Farage also warned the Conservatives are in “dire, dire trouble” ahead of the next general election.
He said: “I mean, this Government’s in desperate trouble headed for catastrophic defeat.
“They’ve no idea what’s coming down the track towards them. And I think the last thing I heard before I went into the jungle was that Cameron was back… if it’s got that bad, they must be in real trouble.”
