Dominic Cummings, the Vote Leave Campaign director has been appointed as a special adviser to Boris Johnson. Mr Rees Mogg explained to Mr Peston that this appointment could prove vital for Mr Jonson’s chances of success. The leading Brexiteer explained: “Dominic Cummings is obviously very important.

“He’s very capable at policy was instrumental in Michael Gove’s education reforms, and is also a very effective campaigner as he showed during his leadership of vote leave.”
