Results are coming in from 650 seats across the country in the 2019 general election .

From Labour's northern heartlands to southern Tory shires and everything in between in our diverse political landscape, we are covering all the results as they happen.

An exit poll predicted the Tories would win 368 seats in Parliament – their biggest majority since Margaret Thatcher's in 1987.

And it predicted Labour won just 191 seats – worse than Michael Foot's performance in 1983 and the worst since 1935.

The SNP were tipped to win 55 seats, Lib Dems 13 seats, Plaid Cymru 3, Greens one seat and others 19.
