‘Clearly doesn’t like women’ Sadiq Khan torn apart by Tory mayoral candidate
Susan Hall tackles Sadiq Khan over ULEZ expansion
Sadiq Khan has been torn apart by a Conservative candidate for London mayor who claimed he “clearly doesn’t like women”.
Susan Hall, who has been a member of the London Assembly since 2017, claimed the current Labour Mayor of London is “verging” on being a misogynist.
She hit out at what she described as his “bloody rude” attitude.
Ms Hall claimed Mr Khan is not a feminist, saying she hopes Londoners can bring an end to Mr Khan’s eight-year tenure.
She told the MailOnline: “All he says is ‘I’m a feminist’.
“No, no, no, he’s really not.”
Mr Khan has repeatedly claimed to be a feminist. During his campaign to become Mayor of London, he pledged to put gender equality at the centre of his agenda.
Ms Hall also claimed Mr Khan “doesn’t love the city like a mayor should”, suggesting he had been distracted by selling his “wretched book” about climate change.
His book, entitled, “Breathe: Tackling the Climate Emergency” was published in May.
But hitting back at Ms Hall’s comments, allies of Mr Khan told the Mail Online it was a “desperate and nonsense attack”.
They said Mr Kahn has been “leading the way” in improving the lives of women as Mayor of London.
Mr Khan’s allies also claimed that the Tories’ mayoral contest was “mired in allegations of sexual misconduct” against Daniel Korski.
They also hit out at Ms Hall for previously lending support to former US President Donald Trump, calling his views “abhorrent”.
Mr Korski dropped out of the Tory Mayoral Race after being accused of groping Daisy Goodwin more than 10 years ago.

The screenwriter and novelist claims that the former candidate groped her breast after a meeting at Downing Street.
Ms Goodwin filed a formal complaint against Mr Korski.
She claimed she has “been contacted by other women with some very interesting stories”.
Mr Korski has “categorically” denied Ms Goodwin’s claims.
