Boris Johnson and Jeremy Hunt’s signatures reveal hidden downfalls, handwriting expert say
The author of Reading Between the Lines: What Your Handwriting Says About You, found both men had a quick intelligence but were very different as personalities. She told the Sunday Express: “Jeremy’s Hunt’s handwritten letter shows a very much pared down script in a visually naive style that belies an intuitive thinker. He has a quick mind – there are sufficient angular strokes to show an investigative mind.
“The large spaces between the words underlines his need for privacy and need to work alone at times. He is not obviously a team player.”
Ms Bache said Mr Johnson was “starkly different”. She said: “Boris is intellectually creative but extremely unpredictable and at times moody. An act first think later operator.
“He is more sensitive than Hunt but they share an ability to be flexible. Boris’ signature shows unlike Jeremy he doesn’t mind being judged as unpredictable.
“Boris has an air of self-importance that Jeremy does not but his final end stroke to his signature shows a need to keep others at arm’s length.”
In what appeared to reflect Mr Johnson’s refusal to talk about the police being called to the flat in Camberwell, south London, he shares with his girlfriend Carrie Symonds, 31, following a row this month, she noted: “They [both men] share a surprising need for privacy but Boris may not ultimately be as successful as Jeremy with this trait.”
