Iran's foreign minister says no prospect of negotiations with US
If the US wants talks with Iran, the starting point is returning to the 2015 nuclear deal, says the foreign ministry.
Iran says there’s no prospect of talks with the United States unless Donald Trump recommits to the 2015 nuclear agreement.
The Iranian government says the US withdrawal from the 2015 nuclear deal has shown negotiating with Americans is a fool’s errand and, as long as a meaningful reduction of sanctions remains unlikely, talking is a waste of time.
Iran’s foreign minister, Abbas Mousavi, said that Iran was more interested in behaviour than rhetoric.
