Iran oil sanctions to hit Turkish economy

Turkey has no reserves of its own so is dependent on oil and gas imports, leaving it vulnerable to a rise in energy prices.

    Turkey’s economy is expected to continue to slump as the US imposes further sanctions on Iran’s oil industry.

    Turkey is a major Iranian customer but is having to look elsewhere for its energy supplies.

    Al Jazeera’s Sinem Koseoglu reports from Istanbul.
