The Cranberries Release New Single ‘Wake Me When It’s Over’
The Cranberries have released “Wake Me When It’s Over,” the second single from their final album, In The End.
With the release of the album next month, the group members are set to disband, a decision they made after the death of lead singer Dolores O’Riordan.
In the End, produced by Stephen Street, is scheduled to release on April 26 via BMG.
“This was a song Dolores had been working on for a little while,” Cranberries lead guitarist Noel Hogan said in a statement about “Wake Me When It’s Over.”
“It’s a fun song to play and it’s bright and quite uplifting. It’s very much a classic Dolores song with a soft verse and a massive chorus,” he added.
“All Over Now,” the first single from In The End, has already been released.
