Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge Announces Opening Dates at Disney World and Disneyland

Time to book your tickets to a galaxy far, far away.
The official opening dates for Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge were announced today. The attraction will open at Disneyland on May 31 and at Walt Disney World on August 29.
There is a slight catch, though: The second ride, Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance, will not be open at either park. And reservations are required to visit Disneyland between May 31 and June 23.
Upon entering “Galaxy’s Edge,” visitors will experience the sights, sounds, and experiences of the remote planet of Batuu. They can visit Oga’s Cantina, interact with droids and other characters, and ride the most famous ship in the galaxy on Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run.
Phase Two of the attraction, which includes the Rise of the Resistance ride, will debut sometime later this year.
