Stock Alert: PROS Holdings Drops 10% After Quarterly Results

Shares of PROS Holdings, Inc. (PRO) are falling more than 10% Friday morning after reporting third quarter results. The company provided fourth quarter and full-year outlook, that fell short of analysts’ view.

For the fourth quarter, PROS expects revenue of $58.9 million to $59.9 million. The consensus estimate is at $61.97 million.

Loss per share in the fourth quarter is expected to be in the range of $0.18 to $0.16. Analysts’ view stands at $0.17 loss per share.

For the full-year, the company anticipates revenue to be in the range of $250.5 million to $251.5 million. The consensus estimate is for $252.24 million.

The company reported net loss per share of $0.44 in the third quarter compared with net loss of $0.42 per share in the same quarter a year ago.

Adjusted loss per share of $0.15 beat the average estimate of analysts polled by Thomson Reuters at $0.20 loss per share.

Revenue for the quarter decreased 4% year-over-year to $61.5 million. The consensus estimate was for $59.99 million.

PROS Holdings stock is currently trading at $28.03. It has been trading in the range of $19.73- $68.81 in the last one year.

APA Signs ‘Brotherly Love’ Filmmaker Jamal Hill

EXCLUSIVE: APA has signed Jamal Hill, the writer and director behind the Queen Latifah-produced drama Brotherly Love.

Hill recently directed True To The Game 2, the sequel to the 2017 drama starring Vivica A. Fox, Andra Fuller, Erica Peeples, Niatia “Lil Mama” Kirkland, Iyana Halley, and Jeremy Meeks. The pic is due to hit select theaters on Nov. 6. His past credits include Streets starring Meek Mill and Nafessa Williams, Netflix’s Deuces starring Meagan Good and Larenz Tate, and The Available Wife, starring KJ Smith and acquired by UMC.

Hill, who is set to direct a new UMC series titled Lace, will continue to be managed by Sean Mik’ael Butler of Cultivate Entertainment.

‘The Great’s Sebastian De Souza Inks With Anonymous Content

EXCLUSIVE: Sebastian De Souza, who is a series regular on the new Hulu period comedy, The Great, has signed with Anonymous Content for representation.

De Souza stars opposite Fanning and Nicholas Hoult in The Great, created by Oscar-nominated writer Tony McNamara. The show chronicles a genre-bending, anti-historical ride through 18th century Russia and follows the rise of Catherine the Nothing to Catherine the Great.

De Souza also guest-starred in another critically acclaimed Hulu series, Normal People, based on the bestselling novel by Sally Rooney. Other credits include Medici on Netflix, the Channel 4 series Skins, ABC’s Recovery Road, and Showtime’s The Borgias. He’s currently developing a YA television show for Disney.

Up next for De Souza on the film side is Pixie, the Barnaby Thompson-directed feature in which he appears alongside Alec Baldwin and Olivia Cooke, set to be released later this year. He previously co-starred in Claire McCarthy’s Ophelia with Daisy Ridley, Naomi Watts and Clive Owen, and also wrote and starred in Kids in Love with Cara Delevingne and Will Poulter.

De Souza continues to be repped by Waring and McKenna in the UK.

Sony recently obtained the exclusive right to negotiate for Crunchyroll, as the Japanese entertainment and electronics conglomerate hopes to compete with Netflix and other global rivals, the Nikkei said.
