Shahadi Wright Joseph, the 13-year-old star of Jordan Peele’s new horror movie “Us,” said her role has had an unexpected benefit: She can now scare her big sister.

“My family loved the movie last night,” Wright Joseph told us the day after the New York premiere.

“I think that they were kind of scared of me, though. My sister really never gets scared of me that often. She’s my older sister, so she plays tricks on me.”
