Well, look who’s finally arrived.

Chad Michael Murray (One Tree Hill) made his debut on the most recent episode of Riverdale as the Farm’s enigmatic head, Edgar Evernever.

The cult leader — and father of Evelyn (Zoé De Grand Maison) — has been talked about A LOT on season 3 of Riverdale (mostly by Alice Cooper) but hasn’t been seen until now.

EW has your first look at the March 27 episode, in which Edgar has a very intimate candlelit meeting with Cheryl Blossom (Madelaine Petsch). Is Edgar trying to save money on electricity? Is he trying to limit his carbon footprint? Or is he attempting to induct Cheryl into the Farm? We’re guessing the latter.

Riverdale airs Wednesdays at 8 p.m. ET on the CW.
