EXCLUSIVE: UTA has signed producer and former FBI special agent Anne Beagan for representation in all areas.
Beagan founded Dark Pictures with Mindhunter executive producer Jennifer Erwin. The organization, named after the dark pictures FBI investigators use in their cases, has a slate of 15 projects in development, from FBI cases to action thrillers and woman- and minority-led stories based on true crimes.
She also runs Anne Beagan Productions, which she founded a year after retiring from the FBI.
She has served as an FBI consultant and advisor to a number of projects including FBI: Most Wanted, FBI and Inside the FBI: New York.
Beagan worked in the FBI’s New York Office of Public Affairs as its entertainment industry liaison, where for over a decade, she managed long-form projects, including feature films, television series, documentaries, books and magazine articles. She was previously a special events coordinator to the Joint Terrorism Task Force after working in the New York Field Office’s Criminal Division, where she investigated white collar crime, crimes against children, civil rights and violent crime/major offenders, among other violations.
She will continue to be represented by Vigliano Associates and attorney Christian Simonds at Reed Smith.

One ARK exchange-traded fund run by ETF star Cathie Wood bought over 550,000 shares of 3D Systems Corp. (NYSE: DDD) shares on Tuesday, as the prices of this ETF lost nearly 3% in Tuesday’s session. The ETF is up well over 100% in the last year.
ARK Autonomous Technology & Robotics ETF (NYSEARCA: ARKQ) bought 558,900 shares of 3D Systems. At Tuesday’s closing price this would have valued this purchase at roughly $14.65 million. This is only a small fraction of the total holdings. ARKQ is up 188% over the past 52 weeks.

3D Systems Corp. (NYSE: DDD) was raised from Sell to Hold with a $31 price target at Loop Capital. The consensus target is $20.50. The stock closed Tuesday’s trading session at $31.17, after pulling back almost 20% in the wake of missing earnings estimates but higher year-over-year revenues.

TOKYO, March 24 (Reuters) – Japanese Finance Minister Taro Aso said on Wednesday it was hard to revitalise the economy with monetary easing alone, calling on companies to help out by raising salaries for employees.
Speaking in parliament, Aso also said the government must seek to raise Japan’s average minimum wage to around 1,000 yen ($9) from the current 900 yen.

Sen. John Kennedy (R-La.) tested out a colorful turn of words on Tuesday as he argued against gun control less than 24 hours after a mass shooting in Boulder, Colorado, claimed 10 lives.
It didn’t go well for the Louisiana lawmaker.
“We do not need more gun control,” he claimed on Fox News. “We need more idiot control.”
Kennedy also twice on Tuesday made the false comparison that background checks and other basic gun control measures are akin to handling drunk drivers by taking cars away from sober drivers.
“I don’t even know what to say to that, it’s so stupid,” CNN’s Jake Tapper observed on the air in response.
The comparison… and his “idiot control” comments… caused Kennedy’s name to trend on Twitter.
