Red Hot Chili Peppers’ Flea Entertains Fans With Handstands After Power Outage
Red Hot Chili Peppers bassist Flea entertained the crowd during a concert in Tasmania with handstands as the rock band’s show was interrupted by a power outage after one song.
The band performed their opening track, “Can’t Stop,” and was half way through “Pea” when a power outage brought their set to a dead stop at the Derwent Entertainment Centre.
The founding member of the rock band took over the stage during the 15-minute glitch and sang solo.
Fans were thankful to Flea for his spontaneous display.
“Red Hot Chili Peppers having some significant tech issues in Hobart. But Flea is still a god,” one of the fans said on Twitter.
When power was restored, Anthony Kiedis and company completed a 21-song set.
It was their first-ever show in Hobart, Tasmania.
