Vivian Campbell hinted in a recent interview that Queen‘s lead guitarist Brian May could induct English rock band Def Leppard into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame on March 29.

Campbell, who is the guitarist for Def Leppard, was responding to a question from Beth Simmons of 96.1 KLPX radio station if he and his bandmates know who will induct them into the Rock Hall.

“I’ve heard a rumor. I don’t know if it’s for public consumption yet. But it would be pretty easy to figure it out. It’s a gentleman who’s been a big fan of the band and a friend of the band for many, many decades,” said Campbell, who also described the man as “really smart.”

Simmons asked Campbell if its May, who is also an astrophysicist who has worked with NASA.

“It may well be,” Campbell replied.
