Man’s body found behind Brooklyn Home Depot: cops

A man’s body was discovered in a wooded area behind a Brooklyn Home Depot, police said Monday.

A passerby came across the unidentified victim, who police said appears to be in his 30s, around 12:45 p.m. Sunday in the woods behind the store on Cropsey Avenue in Canarsie. The man was lying face down and bleeding from his head, cops said.

He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Investigators are looking into the circumstances behind his death.

91-year-old Illinois woman backs into property, submerges car in swimming pool

A 91-year-old woman from Illinois lost control of her vehicle and backed into a swimming pool, WBZ-TV reports. 

The elderly driver, of Springfield, was allegedly backing up her 2003 Mercury Sable around 9:30 a.m. on Sunday when she inexplicably found herself backing across the street between two houses, through bushes and a wooden fence. She eventually backed into an in-ground swimming pool, according to firefighters. 

The woman, who lives in the neighborhood, reportedly got out of the car unscathed before first responders arrived.

Disturbed Cancel Saskatchewan Show Due To ‘Vocal Issue’

Heavy metal band Disturbed were forced to cancel their July 24 show at the Brandt Center in Saskatchewan due to frontman David Draiman facing vocal issues.

“At the recommendation of a doctor, David has been advised to rest and limit his vocal usage today to avoid any further damage,” Disturbed explained in an official statement.

The Chicago-based band is currently on tour across North America in promotion of their latest album, Evolution.

Refunds for the canceled show will be made available at the point of purchase.

Christina Milian pregnant with second child, her first with boyfriend Matt Pokora

Christina Milian is rocking a baby bump.

The 37-year-old “Dip It Low” singer is expecting her second child, but her first with 33-year-old boyfriend Matt Pokora. “New release 2020! What a blessing! Let’s do this babe @mattpokora ❤️!” she captioned a photo of her and Pokora holding an ultrasound photo.

Pokora shared the same photo and added, “Legacy on the way!”

Milian is also mom to 9-year-old daughter Violet Nash, whom she shares with ex The Dream. Milian and Pokora, a French singer, have been dating since 2017.
