That’s why Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen invented the Mardi Gras Beadbox, a set of beads that hold a box of fried chicken, just in time for Fat Tuesday this year.

The wearable chicken holders are all about practicality without compromising NOLA style, as the straps that hold the fried chicken also double as festive Mardi Gras beads, available in classic green and purple colors.

The Popeyes Mardi Gras Beads will be available exclusively in New Orleans on Tuesday, outside of the Canal Street Popeyes restaurant.

Festival-goers can simply pick their favorite Popeyes snack box meal, secure it in place and throw the beads over their necks, giving them plenty of extra hands for celebrating as they parade around town. Because who hasn’t experienced a fried chicken craving halfway through a party?

While the beads are only available at this one location, there’s no reason you can’t grab a snack box around the country to celebrate. Grab a $1 Hurricane at your local Applebee’s, too, while you’re at it!
