Lulu’s Fashion Lounge Q4 Results Beat Street View, Revenue Outlook Strong; Shares Up 10%

Lulu’s Fashion Lounge Holdings, Inc. (LVLU) Thursday reported a loss for the fourth quarter, that was narrower than Wall Street’s estimates, driven by revenue growth. The company also issued a strong revenue outlook for the full year 2022. Following the news, shares of Lulu’s Fashion gained nearly 10%.

Fourth-quarter net loss widened to $133.8 million or $4.69 per share from $4.2 million or $0.24 per share.

Adjusted loss per share was $0.03, compared to adjusted loss per share of $0.24 last year. Analysts polled by Thomson Reuters expected a loss of $0.07 per share.

Revenues for the quarter rose to $96.8 million from $54.5 million last year. Analysts had a consensus revenue estimate of $92.75 million for the quarter.

Looking forward to the full year 2022, the company expects revenue between $480 million and $490 million, which represents between 28% and 30% growth over 2021 net revenue. Analysts currently expect revenues of $472.06 million for the quarter.

LVLU closed Thursday’s trading at $6.78, up $0.57 or 9.18%, on the Nasdaq. The stock further gained $0.64 or 9.44% in the after-hours trading.

Isaiah Hansen is second suspect arrested in connection to Denver shooting death

A second suspect has been arrested in connection of a shooting death in Denver.

Isaiah Hansen, 22, was arrested Thursday on investigation of accessory to first-degree murder, police said in a news release.

Jon Sulaica, 18, was arrested Tuesday in Arvada on investigation of first-degree murder in the death of  28-year-old Frankie Sanchez.

The shooting happened on March 20 in the 1600 block of South Zenobia Street, police said. Hansen is also being investigated for accessory to criminal attempted murder with extreme indifference.

The company’s bottom line totaled -$73.12 million, or -$0.32 per share. This compares with -$15.98 million, or -$0.30 per share, in last year’s fourth quarter.

The company’s revenue for the quarter rose 164.4% to $80.99 million from $30.63 million last year.

SOUNDBOKS Recalls Bluetooth Speakers With Lithium-ion Batteries Due Fire Risk

SOUNDBOKS has recalled about 6,700 bluetooth speakers with lithium-ion batteries due to risk of fire.

According to Consumer Product Safety Commission, the lithium-ion battery in SOUNDBOKS (Gen. 3) bluetooth speakers can overheat, posing a fire hazard. The company said it has not received any reports of incident or injury.

Tge recall involves SOUNDBOKS (Gen. 3) Bluetooth performance speakers with BATTERYBOKS 3 lithium-ion batteries. The speaker measures about 26.5 inches high by 17 inches wide by 13 inches deep. The grill cover of the speaker was sold in black, white, orange, red or blue. The battery is removable from the speaker and connects through a slot on the side of the speaker, opposite the user interface. The products were sold online at SOUNDBOKS.com, Amazon.com, and DJ Tech Tools.com from November 2021 through February 2022 for about $1,000.

The company has asked customers to immediately stop using the recalled speakers, remove the battery and contact the firm to receive a new battery including shipping.

SOUNDBOKS will provide free replacement lithium-ion batteries and a $100 credit toward purchases at SOUNDBOKS web shop, as well as instructions for properly disposing of lithium-ion batteries according to federal and state regulations.

PlayMonster Recalls Kid O Hudson Glow Rattles On Choking Hazard

PlayMonster is recalling the Kid O Hudson Glow Rattle as it involves a choking hazard. The toy is a motion-activated rattle shaped like a puppy, which makes a soft rattling sound when shaken. The rattlers’ legs are a threat as they can fall off and cause choking hazard to young children.

The plastic puppy is white with spots, which glow in red or green. The puppy’s legs are textured soft plastic in red at the front and green at the back for teething children. The recalled rattles measure about 4 inches long by 2 inches wide by 3.8 inches high.

PlayMonster has so far received three reports of the rattle legs breaking off but no injuries have been reported so far. Till now, the firm has recalled about 8,900 rattles, in addition to 200 which were sold in Canada.

The company said that consumers should immediately take away the recalled rattles from children, stop using them, and contact PlayMonster on instructions on how to get the $25 refund. The company said that it would provide consumers with a pre-paid shipping label to give back the recalled product.
