Pink Floyd To Release Mono Remaster Of ‘A Saucerful Of Secrets’

Pink Floyd have announced that they will reissue the mono mix of their 1968 album A Saucerful of Secrets on vinyl for Record Store Day.

A Saucerful of Secrets, the English rock band’s second LP, is one of the rare albums in their catalog that originally came out in mono.

This year’s edition of Record Store Day is scheduled for April 13, when hundreds of independent record shops gather for a celebration of music and vinyl.

Rock band Pearl Jam is the 2019 Record Store Day’s ambassador.

The seven-track mono mix album, remastered by James Guthrie, Joel Plante, and Bernie Grundman, will be released on limited-edition 12-inch 180-gram black vinyl.

Meanwhile, Pink Floyd drummer Nick Mason is set to embark on a North American tour with his new band, Saucerful of Secrets.
