DocuSign Slips 20% On Weak Outlook

Shares of DocuSign, Inc. (DOCU) slipped over 20% on Friday morning after the company’s outlook missed Street view.

DOCU is currently trading at $74.83, down $19.05 or 20.29%, on the Nasdaq.

Looking forward, the company expects revenues of $579 million to $583 million and $2.47 billion to $2.48 billion for the first quarter and full year 2022, respectively. Analysts currently estimates revenues of $586.17 million and revenues of $2.59 billion.

Net loss for the quarter narrowed to $30.4 million or $0.15 per share from $72.4 million or $0.38 per share last year.

Adjusted earnings were $0.48 per share, up from $0.37 per share last year. Analysts polled by Thomson Reuters estimated earnings of $0.47 per share for the quarter.

Revenues for the quarter rose to $580.8 million from $430.9 million last year.

Tredegar Q4 Adj. Profit Declines; Net Sales Up 24.7%

Tredegar Corp. (TG) reported fourth quarter net income from ongoing operations, excluding special items, of $6.2 million or $0.18 per share compared to $9.7 million or $0.29 per share, a year ago. EBITDA from ongoing operations was $10.89 million compared to $13.64 million.

Fourth quarter net income from continuing operations was $21.4 million or $0.63 per share compared to $6.5 million or $0.19 per share, last year.

Sales increased to $220.99 million from $192.52 million, prior year. The company said net sales increased by 24.7% to $144.83 million primarily due to an increase in average selling prices to cover significantly higher aluminum raw material costs and higher operating costs, partially offset by lower sales volume. Sales volume decreased by 3.9%, for the quarter.

Zumiez Stock Down 11% On Q4 Results, Q1 Outlook

Shares of Zumiez Inc. (ZUMZ) slipped over 11% on Friday morning after the company reported its results for the fourth quarter and issued an outlook for the first quarter.

ZUMZ is currently trading at $38.33, down $4.74 or 11.01%, on the Nasdaq.

Net income for the fourth quarter was $38.2 million or $1.70 per share, compared to $42.8 million or $1.68 per share last year.

Net sales for the fourth quarter increased 4.6% to $346.7 million from $331.5 million last year.

Analysts polled by Thomson Reuters expected earnings of $1.76 per share on revenues of $351.78 million for the quarter.

Looking forward to the first quarter, the company expects sales of $215 million to $221 million and earnings are expected to be break-even to positive $0.10 per share.
