Mötley Crüe bassist Nikki Sixx has expressed disappointment after learning the “grand finale” of shows on KISS‘ current tour is “an exact reenactment” of his band’s stage production during their own farewell tour in 2014-15.

Sixx highlighted the similarities in posts on social media, showing pictures of members of both bands being carried over the crowd by two gigantic cranes.

“Wow. Our body wasn’t even cold before they took this exact grande finale from our tour. Might not matter to Kiss fans but it does to Crue fans,” Sixx said in a post on Twitter.

He added, “I dug their music when I was a little kid and it was cool to Co-Headline together a few years but this disappoints me.”
