Michael Jackson’s Family Denies Claims In ‘Leaving Neverland’

Michael Jackson‘s family members say they believe claims made by two men in a documentary about the king of pop are lies motivated by money.

Leaving Neverland, directed by Dan Reed, is set to air on HBO on March 3.

Reed’s film follows two men, Wade Robson and James Safechuck, who allege that they were sexually abused by the music legend when they were children.

Michael Jackson’s nephew Taj, and brothers Jackie, Marlon and Tito denied the claims in their first TV interview about the documentary on “CBS This Morning.”

“I think the fault on my uncle was he just – he didn’t have that bone in his body to look at it the other way … his naiveté was his downfall in a way,” Taj said when co-host Gayle King asked about Jackson sharing his bed with young children.

He added, “And I think that’s what hurts me more than anything is knowing his innocence, but then knowing how the world is.”
