Mattel unveils new BTS doll collection

It’s one thing to break records by becoming the first K-pop band to top the Billboard 200, but another major marker of success is getting dolls and toys made in your likeness. That moment arrived for BTS on Tuesday, when Mattel unveiled its new doll collection for the biggest boy band in the world.

V, Jungkook, Jimin, Jin, RM, Suga, and J-Hope have now been rendered in doll form. Special care was taken with their outfits, which are inspired by the band members’ appearances in their music video for “Idol.” After unveiling the collection as a whole, Mattel highlighted each outfit in individual tweets celebrating “RM’s chic style,” “Jin’s endlessly handsome style,” and so on.

The new dolls aren’t the only BTS news on the horizon. The band recently announced that their next album, Map of the Soul: Persona, will be released on April 12. They’re also still performing dates for their BTS World Tour: Love Yourself. Check out previews of the Mattel toys below.
