Mannatech Q4 Profit Rises
Informa Turns To Profit In FY21; Sees Higher Results In FY22 – Quick Facts
Informa Plc (INF.L), a British publishing, business intelligence, and exhibitions company, reported Tuesday that its fiscal 2021 profit before tax was 137.1 million pounds, compared to last year’s loss of 1.14 billion pounds.
Earnings per share were 5.2 pence, compared to loss of 73.4 pence a year ago.
Adjusted profit before tax was 320.6 million pounds, compared to 169.2 million pounds last year. Adjusted earnings per share were 16.7 pence, compared to 9.8 pence a year ago.
Adjusted operating profit climbed 45.7 percent from last year to 388.4 million pounds.
Revenue grew 8.3 percent to 1.80 billion pounds from last year’s 1.66 billion pounds. Underlying revenues increased 6.1 percent, reflecting strength in Subscriptions, growth in Digital Services and the progressive return of Live and On-Demand B2B Events.
Looking ahead, the company said its fiscal 2022 underlying Group guidance remains unchanged.
For the year, the company expects revenue of 2.15 billion pounds to 2.25 billion pounds, and adjusted operating profit of 470 million pounds to 490 million pounds. The outlook has been updated to reflect the expected phased divestment of the Informa Intelligence portfolio.
TP ICAP FY21 Adj. Pretax Profit Declines
TP ICAP Group plc (IAPLF.PK,IAPLY.PK,IAP.L) said, excluding Liquidnet, fiscal year adjusted EBIT margin was 1.0% points lower than the prior year. Excluding Liquidnet’s post-acquisition revenue, revenue was 1% lower in constant currency than the prior year, in line with guidance, the Group said.
Adjusted profit before tax was 177 million pounds for the year ended 31 December 2021 compared to 223 million pounds, last year. Adjusted earnings per share was 19.3 pence compared to 28.9 pence.
Profit before tax declined to 24 million pounds from 129 million pounds, previous year. Earnings per share was 0.7 pence compared to 15.2 pence.
Fiscal year revenue was 1.86 billion pounds compared to 1.79 billion pounds, previous year. The Group noted that 8% rise in revenue in constant currency was driven by the acquisition of Liquidnet on 23 March 2021.
The Board recommended a final dividend for 2021 of 5.5 pence, which, when added to the interim dividend of 4 pence, results in a total dividend for the year of 9.5 pence. The final dividend will be paid on 17 May 2022 to shareholders on the register at close of business on 8 April 2022.

TI Fluid Systems Turns To Profit In FY21; Sees FY22 To Be A Year Of Stabilisation
TI Fluid Systems Plc (TIFS.L), a manufacturer of automotive fluid storage, carrying and delivery systems, reported Tuesday that fiscal 2021 profit was 16.0 million euros, compared to loss of 252.2 million euros a year ago.
Basic earnings per share were 2.76 euro cents, compared to loss of 48.88 euro cents a year ago.
Adjusted net income was 58.3 million euros, compared to 13.7 million euros in the prior year. Adjusted basic earnings per share were 11.23 euro cents, compared to 2.64 euro cents in 2020.
Revenue grew to 2.96 billion euros from prior year’s 2.81 billion euros.
Looking ahead, the company said it expects 2022 to be a year of stabilisation with many of the challenges in 2021 gradually diminishing.
The company continues to expect 2022 revenue to outperform global light vehicle production volume while delivering resilient margins and Cash Flow.
The company expects industry production volumes to remain uncertain and volatile in the near term given the geopolitical conflicts and macro-economic environment amid the Russian invasion of Ukraine.
IHS Markit forecasts that global light vehicle production will return to 2019 production levels in 2023, although the timing and degree of any recovery is uncertain.
Mannatech Q4 Profit Rises
Mannatech Inc. (MTEX), a health and wellness company, reported Tuesday that its fourth-quarter net income was $2.6 million or $1.25 per share, higher than last year’s $0.7 million, or $0.34 per share.
Fourth-quarter net sales were $39.5 million, an increase of 0.8 percent from $39.2 million in the fourth quarter of 2020.
Net sales increased 3.6 percent on a constant dollar basis.
