Livery cab driver stabbed to death in the Bronx

A 27-year-old livery driver was slashed to death in his car Saturday night on the Hutchinson River Parkway in The Bronx, police said.

The driver, whose name was withheld, suffered stab wounds to his neck and chest, police said.

The motive of the 9 p.m. attack was not known.

Police were hunting for the stabber early Sunday.

The driver was rushed from his Toyota Camry in Co-op City to Jacobi Hospital, where he died.
