Lamar Odom‘s finances are looking up.

American Express has had its lawsuit against the former NBA player dismissed, The Blast reported, citing court documents. The credit card company originally sued Odom for allegedly failing to pay his $17,050.83 balance.

Despite this legal victory, the 39-year-old athlete still faces other financial woes. Just last month, a travel agent sued Odom for allegedly failing to pay for $24,629.47 worth of airline tickets; however, all signs point to a comeback for Odom, who got back into basketball earlier this month playing for the Philippines in the upcoming Dubai International Basketball Championship.

“Feeling great, brand new and just really blessed for starting over in Basketball,” he wrote on Instagram at the start of the tournament. “My Filipino brothers and sisters have welcomed me with open arms & hearts and I feel blessed to be here. My first pro practise [sic] day in years and I can’t wait for tomorrow.”

His team took home the bronze medal.
