Khalid has revealed that he would be dropping his sophomore album in April.

The 21-year-old singer and songwriter gave an idea about the release date while responding to a fan on Twitter.

“This album is the culmination of all of the growth and experiences I have gathered over the past two remarkable years,” he said in an interview with Zane Lowe on Beats 1.

Khalid’s fans have been waiting for a long time since he dropped his first project, American Teen, almost two years ago.

Meanwhile, Billboard announced that this week, Khalid became just the third artist ever to rule the top two positions of the Hot R&B Songs chart simultaneously, with “Better” and “Talk” reaching No. 1 and 2, respectively.

Drake and The Weekend are the other singers whose tracks hit the top 2 spots.
