Kehlani has shared a transformative new video for the song “Butterfly” from her mixtape While We Wait, which dropped last month.

Kehlani announced the release of the video on Instagram.

“Thank you Oakland School for the Arts for cultivating such a beautiful community, and teaching me so much of what I use today in my career,” Kehlani wrote.

“Directed by the youngest director I’ve ever worked with @treylyons, thank you for bringing my vision to life,” she added.

Kehlani collaborated with students and faculty from her alma mater, Oakland School for the Arts, to execute the video.

This is the third video for songs from While We Wait after “Nunya” and “Nights Like This.”

Kehlani is pregnant with her partner, guitarist Javie Young-White.
