Joey King is one of the first winners of the night!

The 19-year-old actress picked up the award for Favorite Movie Actress at the 2019 Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards held at the Galen Center on Saturday (March 23) in Los Angeles.

Joey thanked her The Kissing Booth co-stars Joel Courtney and Jacob Elordi, as well as the fans for their support. The movie is also up for Favorite Movie!

“Oh my god, I never thought I’d be in the same category as Rihanna and actually win something, so this is crazy to me,” Joey said during her speech. “Playing Elle Evans was so amazing to me because she is a girl who embraces her differences and originality and I love playing her because it encourages young girls to just be you and young boys to be you.”
