Jennifer Lawrence’s engagement ring designer revealed
Jennifer Lawrence‘s gorgeous engagement ring from Cooke Maroney is the work of a Hollywood favorite.
The 28-year-old actress’ giant emerald-cut sparkler was designed by NYC-based jeweler Alison Lou, whose playful pieces have been worn by A-listers like Blake Lively, Gigi Hadid and Paris Jackson.
Lawrence laid low in the weeks following her engagement to the 33-year-old art gallerist, but finally revealed her stunning ring at the fall 2019 Dior fashion show in Paris at the end of February, her first public appearance since accepting Maroney’s proposal.
Lou’s “Loucite” hoop earrings have proved particular popular with the red-carpet crowd, popping up on the ears of stars including Selena Gomez, Tracee Ellis Ross and Emily Ratajkowski — the latter of whom also turned to the designer to make her engagement ring, which features two large diamonds (one princess-cut, one pear-shaped) set on a gold band.
And at $125 to $165 per pair, Lou’s hoops won’t set you back quite as much as a ring like Lawrence’s; as Page Six Style previously reported, the Oscar winner’s bauble could be worth six figures.
