Man uses drone to walk his dog during coronavirus lockdown

When it comes to precautions against catching the coronavirus, the sky’s the limit — as a Cyprus man shows by using a drone to walk his dog.

Vakis Demetriou stood on his balcony during the government-mandated lockdown and operated his drone, which walked Oliver using a leash from several feet above, according to Storyful.

The footage captured by the ingenious resident’s daughter on Wednesday shows the fluffy white pooch taking the leisurely stroll in stride during the fifth day of quarantine.

“Stay home but don’t forget your dog’s happiness,” the Facebook video is captioned.

Jamie Oliver fast-tracks cooking show for coronavirus isolation

UK celebrity chef Jamie Oliver is rushing to create a cooking show aimed at people self-isolating during the coronavirus pandemic.

“Jamie: Keep Cooking And Carry On” will air on British broadcaster Channel 4 for five days, beginning Mar. 23.

According to Deadline, “It will feature the chef helping viewers make the most of the ingredients they have in their homes at a time when many are rushing to the shops and panic buying.”

An executive for the channel said that the show will be turned around, “in a matter of days.”

The show was commissioned by the network.
