J. Cole has shared the official video for his latest single, “Middle Child.”

The video for “Middle Child,” which is the rapper’s first track of 2019, was directed by Mez.

The song was a great hit on the Hot 100 chart. The audio attracted more than 44 million views on YouTube and was streamed more than 100 million times on Spotify.

“Once we did the record, we just knew there was something special about it,” says the song’s co-producer T-Minus.

“I mean, he’s addressing a lot of things that are happening right now, so you know, he wanted to get that record out,” he told Complex.

Recently, J. Cole has been teasing a new Dreamville label compilation called Revenge of the Dreamers III. It is not clear if “Middle Child” is a part of it or a stand-alone track.
