Gunman caught on video shooting into jeep — and missing target

He’s the hood who couldn’t shoot straight.

A brazen gunman pumped at least four bullets into a Jeep parked on a Brooklyn street last Thursday, blowing out the windows but missing his target — and it was all caught on video.

Surveillance footage released by police late Tuesday shows the thug stroll up to a dark SUV parked at Marcy Avenue and Madison Street in Bedford-Stuyvesant around 5:45 p.m. before pulling out a gun and squeezing off at least four rounds into the car’s passenger-side windows. He then turns around and runs away — his gun still pointed at the vehicle.

Police say the 40-year-old target, who was in the driver’s seat and is seen opening the car door before the video cuts out, was unscathed.

The suspect, whose face was covered for the duration of the shooting, was wearing a dark, fur-lined hooded jacket and gray sweatpants.
