Forever 21 releases Selena Quintanilla-inspired clothing collection
The legend of Selena Quintanilla lives on.
Fast fashion retailer Forever 21 released a capsule collection on Thursday in honor of the late singer for a whole new generation of fans.
The company created their “Selena The White Rose” line in conjunction with the 22nd anniversary of “Selena,” the 1997 biopic which memorably starred Jennifer Lopez as the musical icon.
The 23-piece range, which incorporate famous images of Selena alongside her various quotes and lyrics, includes graphic tees, hoodies, biker shorts and accessories retailing from $7 to $40.
The size-inclusive collection features both men’s and women’s designs, and is available today both online and in stores nationwide.
The 23-year-old singer, referred to as the Queen of Tejano music, made such an enormous impact on the worlds of music and fashion during her brief life that she’s often considered to be one of the most important Mexican-American entertainers of the late 20th century.
Even after Selena’s murder in 1995, her posthumous collection with MAC went on to become one of the best-selling celebrity collaborations in cosmetics history.
