POLICE have launched a probe after a body was found in a recycling bin by a member of the public.
Officers were called at 6am today after reports of a body discovered in Scalby, Scarborough.
A spokesperson from North Yorkshire Police said: "Police, Fire and Ambulance services attended and are currently at the scene.
"Enquiries are ongoing, but officers do not believe there are any suspicious circumstances around the incident."

Putin meets Xi, says Russia welcomes constructive Chinese role on Ukraine
Moscow: Russian President Vladimir Putin said on Sunday that Russia was grateful for what he called China’s balanced approach to events in Ukraine and welcomed its willingness to play a constructive role in solving the crisis.
Putin said that the US drive to contain Russia and China was taking on an ever-sharper character.
China and Russia were coordinating foreign policy and “fighting common threats”, the Russian leader said.

Erik Lomis, Veteran MGM Film Distribution Executive, Dies at 64
Erik Lomis, a longtime film distribution executive, died at his home in Santa Monica, Calif. He was 64.
Lomis served as MGM’s head of theatrical distribution and most recently oversaw the release strategy for “Creed III,” which opened to a franchise-record $51 million.
He previously served as president of distribution of United Artists Releasing, handing the rollout of the Oscar-winning “Women Talking” and and the latest James Bond blockbuster “No Time To Die.”
