NCAA champion Brody Malone headlines U.S. men’s gymnastics team for Tokyo Olympics
ST. LOUIS — Brody Malone has had quite the year.
Two months ago, he won his second NCAA title. Three weeks ago, he won the U.S. championships for the first time. Now, he’s on his way to the Tokyo Olympics.
Malone won the two-day Olympic trials to secure his spot on the Tokyo squad. Yul Moldauer was second, but had to finish in the top three on at least three events to be a lock. Which he did, posting the highest score of the meet on parallel bars, second-best on pommel horse and finishing third on both floor exercise and still rings.
They were joined by Shane Wiskus and Sam Mikulak on the four-man team, and Alec Yoder in the “plus-one” spot.
The Americans have not won a team medal at the Olympics since 2008, and it will be a longshot for them to break that streak in Tokyo, given how strong the Russians, Chinese and Japanese are. But the Americans head to Tokyo knowing they at least are as mentally strong as any team, counting just one fall – Mikulak on pommel horse Saturday – over the two-day meet.

Disneyland & Disney California Adventure Reintroduce Single Rider Lines For Select Attractions – Report
On Saturday, both Disneyland and Disney California Adventure reintroduced single rider lines for some of their most popular rides, according to a report from The Orange County Register.
The single rider option is said to be available for select attractions at Disneyland, including Space Mountain, Indiana Jones Adventure, Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run, Star Tours and Splash Mountain.
It is also reportedly now an option for those looking to board rides at DCA, including Radiator Springs Racers, the Incredicoaster and Grizzly River Run.
The reintroduction of single rider lines comes as health and safety protocols have eased at Disney’s Anaheim parks—particularly, following California’s June 15 reopening.
Prior to the outbreak of the Covid-19 pandemic, single rider lines had long been sought out by visitors, as a way of getting on rides quicker. The only downside, for those choosing to step into these lines, is that they’re less likely to find themselves seated near the other members of their party.

Disneyland and Disney California Adventure began welcoming out-of-state guests on the 15th. The parks first reopened to California residents, at limited capacity, on Friday, April 30.

Emily Compagno: VP Harris Border trip as ‘just for PR’ to appease the press
‘The Big Saturday Show’ discusses the border crisis and Vice President Kamala Harris visiting the southern border.
Fox News contributor Emily Compagno said on “The Big Saturday Show” that Vice President Kamala Harris’ border trip was “just for PR to get the media off her back.”
“We are seeing a host of migrants and migrant children being kept in devastating conditions, and the administration just flushes them out throughout the system and claims they’re being taken care of, but really they’re just being put into more deplorable conditions,” Compagno said.
Washington Post reporter Nick Miroff pointed out that Harris’ trip to El Paso allows her to avoid harder-hit areas in the Rio Grande Valley, where even Democratic officials have been critical of the Biden administration’s response to the border crisis. The Rio Grande Valley (RGV) Sector has been especially hard hit by the crisis.
