Liz Cheney’s Answer On If She’d Ever Vote For Trump Stumps Fox News Anchor
Fox News anchor Neil Cavuto was thrown for a loop by Rep. Liz Cheney (R-Wyo.) on Wednesday.
It happened after the Wyoming lawmaker condemned former President Donald Trump’s encouragement of the Jan. 6 Capitol Hill insurrection.
Cheney, who was one of 10 House Republicans who voted for Trump to be impeached for spurring on the riots, told Cavuto the former president’s action “was the gravest violation of an oath of office by any president in American history.”
She added: “We can’t embrace insurrection. We can’t minimize what happened on Jan. 6.”
Despite those strong comments, Cavuto decided to ask Cheney if she planned to vote for Trump if he was the 2024 Republican presidential nominee.
Her response was quick and to the point: “I would not.”
As the video shows, Cavuto seemed a little flummoxed by her response and didn’t know what else to say.
The exchange attracted many comments on Twitter:

Fintech leader, One Finance CEO says overhaul of digital finance in banking 'coming fast'
One Finance CEO: Expect disruptions in the banking space
ONE CEO Brian Hamilton discusses his company’s alternatives to traditional banking
Digital bank account and Fintech leader One is flipping the switch on traditional banking and CEO Brian Hamilton warned on "The Claman Countdown" that the market should be prepared for interruptions.
BRIAN HAMILTON: I do think you're going to see a lot more disruption in the space very soon. The large banks have largely escaped some of the overhaul that other industries have suffered at the hands of digital technology. But the fact is, it's coming fast…
Big banks still have a serious margin on the backs of some of the folks that can afford at least, namely the middle class, working-class households that still bank with the traditional banks… I think there's plenty of room there for disruption, both in the financial products themselves and how much of that value is returned, particularly to middle-class households who can least afford it these days, particularly after the pandemic. And that's a really big opportunity.
It's been coming for a while now. There's been digital disruption in the space on individual products right over the course of the last five or 10 years. There's lots of notable Fintech, some of which are now public… And there is a lot more to come.

Chicago White Sox’s Carlos Rodon throws MLB’s second no-hitter of 2021
Left-hander Carlos Rodon of the Chicago White Sox tossed the second no-hitter of the 2021 MLB season, just barely missing out on a perfect game Wednesday night in an 8-0 win over Cleveland.
"That was awesome. A whole team effort," he told NBC Sports Chicago after the game. "I can't believe it. I can't."
Rodon, who had his start pushed back two days because of a stomach bug, made the Cleveland hitters feel ill, inducing plenty of weak contact while striking out seven. But he lost the perfect game with one out in the ninth inning when he hit Cleveland catcher Roberto Perez in the foot.
Instead, Rodon had to settle for completing the no-hitter, which he did in striking out Yu Chang and getting Jordan Luplow out on a ground ball to third base for the final out.

Draegerwerk Q1 Preliminary Net Sales Rise
German medical and safety technology provider Draegerwerk AG & Co. KGaA (DRWKF.PK) reported that preliminary net sales for the first quarter of 2021 were significantly higher than the same period of the previous year.
Net of currency effects, net sales for the quarter rose around 28.2 percent or 23.8 percent nominal basis to about 792.1 million euros from last year.
The EBIT for the first quarter was around 129 million euros compared to negative 0.6 million euros in the previous year.
Incoming orders at Dräger in the first quarter of 2021 were lower at around 739.8 million euros compared to 1.39 billion euros last year.
For the full year, Dräger expects a currency-adjusted decline in net sales of between – 7.0 and – 11.0 percent and an EBIT margin of between 5.0 and 8.0 percent.
According to the company, the business development in the first quarter was above the original expectations, so that the probability of the upper end of the forecast or even exceeding the forecast has increased. The current epidemic situation does not permit a more precise forecast at this point in time and also contains signs of a general weakening of economic development.
The company said it will review the forecast again at the latest with the half-year results and refine it if necessary.
Dräger will publish its full results for the first quarter on April 29, 2021.
