Richard Gere’s wife, Alejandra Silva, is pregnant with their second child

Richard Gere‘s family is growing.

Gere, 70, and his 36-year-old wife, Alejandra Silva, are expecting their second child together, a source close to the couple confirmed to Page Six. They’re already parents to a baby boy, whom they welcomed in February.

Their second child is expected to arrive in the spring.

Gere also has a 19-year-old son, Homer, from his previous marriage to Casey Lowell. Silva is also mom to 6-year-old son Albert from a previous marriage.

Gere and Silva began dating in 2014 and secretly married in early 2018.

Queen Elizabeth is making a major change to her royal wardrobe

The no fur movement has extended far beyond the runway and the state of California — and it’s now arrived at Buckingham Palace.

It was reported on Tuesday that Queen Elizabeth, 93, will no longer be wearing fur, according to her longtime dresser Angela Kelly. 

“If Her Majesty is due to attend an engagement in particularly cold weather, from 2019 onwards fake fur will be used to make sure she stays warm,” Kelly explained in her new bookThe Other Side of the Coin: The Queen, the Dresser and the Wardrobe, which was released last week.

Thieves swipe $26K in handbags from Jimmy Choo

A pair of thieves snagged $26,000 worth of handbags from luxury Upper East Side retailer Jimmy Choo, police said Wednesday.

The duo – a man and woman – entered the ritzy Madison Avenue store around 11 a.m.  Wednesday and managed to get away with a dozen designer handbags, according to police.

The couple, dressed in dark clothing, fled north on Madison Avenue in a blue Jeep with a Pennsylvania license plate, police added.

Security alert at Amsterdam airport over situation on plane

Amsterdam: Dutch military police have tweeted that they are investigating a suspicious situation on an aircraft at Amsterdam's Schiphol Airport.

Dutch media reported that emergency services are massing Wednesday night at the airport on the outskirts of Amsterdam.

No further details were immediately available.
