Chris Evans took a trip to Washington, D.C. this week and he met up with Rep Dan Crenshaw, who showed the actor his Captain America glass eye!

The Texas congressman lost an eye while serving in Afghanistan and he normally wears an eye patch. He removed the patch to show off the glass eye to Evans.

“When Captain America sees your Captain America glass eye,” Crenshaw tweeted with the photos.

Chris replied and said, “A VERY cool use of vibranium.”

Last year, Crenshaw appeared on SNL to make amends with Pete Davidson after the comedian made a joke that compared the congressman to “a hitman in a porno movie.”
