The Chucky saga has become increasingly twisted — in every sense — since Brad Dourif’s dying serial killer Charles Lee Ray spirited his consciousness into a doll way back in 1988’s Child’s Play. Thirty years, and many onscreen slayings later, there are now two upcoming Chucky projects — a remake of the original film (out June 21) starring Aubrey Plaza, Brian Tyree Henry, and Gabriel Bateman and a Chucky TV show which Child’s Play cowriter and longtime franchise architect Don Mancini is developing for SYFY.
