Cardi B advises depressed fan to Google ways to become a millionaire
Cardi B may not be a licensed therapist, but she’s got some advice on how a fan get lift himself out of depression.
“A lot have depression cause ya be on the internet looking at people with the perfect lifes [sic], perfect body, perfect relationships,” the “Money” rapper, 26, tweeted on Thursday. “Depressions is hard to shake off.”
Cardi B’s thoughts came after the star began musing about her own time as a teenager revealing she was “lit,” partook in “hookie parties” and shopped in Soho for hours. She said teenagers are getting “lame” because they focus too much on the internet.
When someone said some teens have depression she offered advice. “Spend time with friends, close1 or with yourself,” she said. “Do boards wit pictures of the things you dream of make them your hobby.”
She continued with the vision board idea, “Do a board full of life goals. It’s very encouraging! It makes you feel motivated and better. Google ways on becoming a millionaire and think about how you going to s–t on people.”
And when all else fails, Cardi B suggest turning up the music and “shake that ass on a mirror bitch!”
