Melania Trump’s Tweet About The Truth Is Too Much For People On Twitter
Melania Trump tweeted about “the truth” on Thursday and it was too ironic for many people to handle.
“The truth will prevail!” the first lady wrote in solidarity with a post from her chief of staff Stephanie Grisham accusing someone of “spreading falsehoods in exchange for a few dollars & some TV time.”
It’s unclear exactly who Grisham was referring to with her tweet. Social media users suggested it was about the journalist Bob Woodward or the first lady’s former friend, Stephanie Winston Wolkoff, who have both released books containing damning allegations about the Trump White House.
Critics of the first lady’s tweet recalled her past support of her husband’s racist “birther” conspiracy theory about former President Barack Obama and the thousands of lies that President Donald Trump has told since taking office:

Eli Lilly: REYVOW Meets All 18 Gated Endpoints In New Phase 3 Study
Eli Lilly and Company (LLY) said its REYVOW showed superiority over placebo in all gated endpoints in a recently completed phase 3 study CENTURION. REYVOW (lasmiditan) C-V demonstrated pain freedom from migraine attacks at 60 minutes and up to 48 hours. It showed significant therapeutic gains of 17-21% for pain freedom at 2 hours. Observed safety findings in the study were generally consistent with those seen in previous REYVOW trials, the company said.
Mark Mintun, vice president of pain and neurodegeneration, Eli Lilly, said: “We are delighted that REYVOW met all 18 patient-centric endpoints. These new clinical insights into REYVOW’s efficacy should enable healthcare providers to have more meaningful conversations with people with migraine who seek freedom from their painful attacks.”

- The U.S. automaker, which started delivering Model 3 electric sedans from its Shanghai factory in December, also plans from next year to sell China-made Model 3 vehicles to Japan and Hong Kong.
Tesla is planning to export Model 3 vehicles made in China to Asian and European markets, two sources familiar with the matter told Reuters on Friday.
The U.S. automaker, which started delivering Model 3 electric sedans from its Shanghai factory in December, also plans from next year to sell China-made Model 3 vehicles to Japan and Hong Kong, one of the sources said.
Tesla did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
The U.S. firm is expanding its manufacturing capacity in China to make Model Y sports-utility vehicles (SUVs) and adding lines to make more battery packs, electric motors and motor controllers.
Tesla, which aims to build 150,000 Shanghai-made Model 3 vehicles this year, sold about 11,800 vehicles in China last month.
The sources declined to be named as they are not allowed to speak to media. Bloomberg reported the plan earlier on Friday.

Heathrow Airport passenger numbers fall 81.5% in August
Britain's Heathrow Airport said passenger numbers in August were down 81.5% compared to last year, as it repeated its call for the UK government to introduce testing as an alternative to the country's 14-day quarantine rule.
Heathrow, which before the COVID-19 pandemic was the busiest airport in Europe, said that North American passenger numbers were down 95% compared to last year as the 14-day quarantine rule deters long-haul travel.
"Heathrow urges the government to introduce testing as an alternative to 14-day quarantine to protect millions of jobs across the UK and to kickstart the economic recovery," the airport said in a statement on Friday.
