BBC Radio Bans Michael Jackson’s Music Following ‘Leaving Neverland’ Documentary

BBC Radio 2 is banning Michael Jackson‘s music following the release of documentary Leaving Neverland, which details allegations of sexual abuse against the late singer.

The decision was made one week prior to the Channel 4 screening of the documentary, according to The Sunday Times.

“We consider each piece of music on its merits and decisions on what we play on different networks are always made with relevant audiences and context in mind,” said a spokesperson for BBC.

In Leaving Neverland – which premieres on HBO in March – Wade Robson and James Safechuck accuse Michael of molesting them as boys.

Michael‘s estate has filed a $100 million lawsuit against HBO for the documentary.
