(Reuters) – GameStop Corp, the video game retailer at the center of this year’s Reddit-driven trading frenzy, said on Monday that global sales for the nine-week period ending April 4 rose about 11%.

Federal land managers lit fires that burned and blackened the Rocky Mountain Arsenal National Wildlife Refuge north of Denver on Monday, revitalizing short-grass prairie for an increasingly delicate balancing of multiplying visitors and bison as the climate becomes hotter and drier.

Controlled burns across 875 acres on this 25-square-mile refuge over the next two weeks, kicking out smoke that may be visible across the metro area, help restore native vegetation and remove weeds. The fires also incinerate trash that blows in from the surrounding urban development.

Atlanta Mayor Keisha Lance Bottoms signed an executive order on Tuesday, asking the city’s chief equity officer to “mitigate” the effects of SB 202, Georgia’s new restrictive voting law recently signed by Gov. Brian Kemp.

The announcement comes as politicians and corporations have spoken out against the law, and after Major League Baseball moved its all-star game from Atlanta, Georgia, to Denver, Colorado, in response to the law.
