Arthur Brown Expressed Dread Over Use of ‘Fire’ in New Zealand Mosque Massacre
AceShowbiz –Arthur Brown has broken his silence following the New Zealand mosque massacres, during which a gunman shot at worshippers after listening to the rocker’s most famous track, “Fire”.
Brown has cancelled a Sunday, March 17 performance in Austin,Texas out of respect for the victims of Friday’s attacks on two mosques Christchurch, after the gunman was heard on livestream blasting “Fire” in his car during his rampage.
“OUT OF RESPECT for the victims of this horrifying act in New Zealand and following the advice of respected local authorities, I have decided to CANCEL the instore performance at WATERLOO RECORDS in AUSTIN tomorrow.”
