Superstar Ariana Grande has updated her Pete Davidson-inspired “Always” tattoo, which she stated was not a cover up but was “evolving.”

The singer added some leaves to her ribcage in the area where her “Always” tattoo is. The word “Always” now sits inside one of the leaves. Meanwhile, her ex-boyfriend Davidson still has the word inked on his upper back.

“Post run thrus, 3 am with @girlknewyork 🙂 not a cover up just evolvin…also, our show opens tomorrow. i love u and i’m so grateful. see you soon,” the superstar captioned an Instagram post of the new ink.

The star also referred to her Sweetener/thank u, next world tour, which opened on March 18 at the Times Union Center in Albany, New York.
